The Radisson LAX and Sheraton Gateway have nominated their Area Managing Director Cindy Boulton for HSMAI General Manager of the year! Cindy is a passionate professional, and possesses an energy level that is contagious to all around her. Her compassion for people is what drives her; she has mastered both her personal and professional successes by living her core values; caring about others and their quality of life. The team’s at the Radisson and Sheraton hotels share in her vision on how to create a successful and profitable environment that benefits the owners and the other Portfolio Hotel and Resort team members.

Cindy has much experience working on and off the job. She has joined and been on the board of directors seven plus years for Gateway to L.A. business improvement district and has been a strong supporter of their many initiatives to improve the Century Blvd. corridor. She has served on their Executive Committee and been a leader in establishing programs including the Hotels Consolidated shuttle system, the Ocean Express Trolley service, the Light the Night benefit for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society, their annual Holiday Lunch Concert, and the newly designed destination marketing brochure. Cindy has actively supported the entire community and understands the bigger picture of working together to improve the quality of life and business for all by working together for the greater good. As of right now she is currently involved in the effort to become a green Community, which would be the first in all of California!

Cindy Boulton reminds the staff, “Put the People first and the profits will come”. In 2009, with Cindy’s leadership, the team was able to outperform the year-end forecast in GOP. Cindy’s pure determination is to “think outside the box” and never say that it cannot be done.
