30 Mar 2010 Radisson LAX went dark for Earth Hour

The Radisson Los Angeles Airport Hotel participated in Earth Hour on March 27th with specials on their food and beverage.

Who says you cannot have drinks in the dark, the Radisson turned off non-essential lighting in public spaces from the hours of 8:30 to 9:30 p.m., including Concorde Lounge and Palmira Restaurant. Even though the atmosphere will be dark there will be high energy and the mood will be light as the Radisson’s employees and patrons showed their support for this year’s Earth Hour. more…

The Radisson located in Los Angeles, California have just set itself above and beyond the basic Radisson hotels out there, in which they joined the Green Key Eco-Rating Program as a member and registered hotel, and is pleased to announce the achievement of a 4-Key rating! We are pleased to announce that the Radisson located in Los Angeles has been awarded the first Radisson brand’s Green Seal Silver Level certified hotel, and one of only four hotels in the entire state of California to achieve the Green Seal lodging certification.

You ask what is Green Seal? Green Seal was established in 1989, and is a national non-profit organization that has developed science-based certification standards for products and service that meet rigorous environmental requirements.
